Catherine Woods
Catherine Woods is the daughter of long-time ECRS love-birds Steve & Martha Woods, and a member from childhood. As an adult, she has regularly led crafts and dance classes and is always looking for an opportunity to goof around. Outside of camp, she spends her time working as an urban farmer in Chicago, IL, where she lives with her partner Alice.
Dan Nicholson
Dan has been an ECRS member for nearly 20 years with his spouse Julie Siftar and their two daughters, Celia and Sonia. At his home in Stow, MA, Dan enjoys making Raku pottery, sailing, and making videos for his local TV station. A retired high school art teacher, Dan has taught Percussion as well as Crafts classes at ECRS Winter Adventure.
Fern Lox
Fern has been an ECRS member for over 25 years when a friend realized that she needed to have more fun. She was hooked from her first Stony Point weekend! Fern is retired from a career in public K-12 education as a teacher, staff developer, and administrator.
Helen Fox
Helen’s grandmother first took her to ECRS when she was 6 years old (nearly 50 years ago). After a hiatus in her 20s (when she was living in CA & HI), she returned when her firstborn (now 22!) was a toddler. This is her second time serving on the Board. She currently works as Conservation Science Director at the Coral Reef Alliance.
Isaac Lebwohl-Steiner
Isaac (he/him) grew up at ECRS and has been leading improvisational theater, roleplaying, and games here for more than a decade. He has also served as the Chair of the ECRS board and in various other capacities over the years.
Za McDonnell
Za has over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, and groups. She is trained in Jungian depth psychology, humanistic and relational psychology, cognitive behavioral techniques, and Eastern mindfulness psychology. When not working she loves spending time hiking, dancing, and cross-country skiing.
Rotating off 2024
Deb Dunn
Deb Dunn has been involved with ECRS for 47 years. She has been an educator for 32 years and incorporates Cooperative Games and songs into her teaching to bring joy and coalescence to groups of teachers and students.
Gabe Dewey
Gabe has been attending ECRS for fifteen years. He currently works as a nonprofit consultant in New York City and loves spending time outdoors playing basketball and going for bike rides. He has been on the ECRS board since January 2021.
Zsuzsi Ngay
Zsuzsi has been coming to ECRS since childhood after her mother, Eva, discovered the organization. Following a hiatus while attending college in Hungary, she returned to ECRS now with her son Daniel – wanting him to also experience the shared joy, freedom, love, and community. She is a member of the Board and has filled various staff roles at different ECRS events. Zsuzsi works as a mental health clinician at a university and in an emergency room – occasionally incorporating games learned at ECRS into her work with students. Biking, hiking, discovering, and experiencing are her joys.
