ECRS returns to Stony Point Center, just about one hour from NYC and 2.5 hrs. from Philadelphia. Also, 3.5 hrs. from Boston and Baltimore.

Covid policy
- All attendees must provide proof of a negative COVID rapid test on the day of arrival
- Bring an unopened test, for the second day.
- If you have any respiratory illness or flu-like symptoms, please stay home.

Schedule
Registration begins at 4:30 pm on Friday in “Evergreen”, the main building. Dinner Friday is served from 6:00-6:30 pm and is included in the cost of the weekend (this is a change from the past). The program for the weekend begins at 8:00 pm Friday and concludes shortly after lunch on Sunday afternoon. Aside from meals, all our activities and our housing are in the “Maple” building.
What to bring
• A flashlight
• A robe (toilets/bath/showers aren’t in the bedrooms)
• Toiletries
• A mug for hot drinks between meals (save on disposable cups)
• Your musical instruments for jamming!

Stony Point Center is a lovely 32-acre conference site nestled in the scenic and historic Hudson River Valley. Accommodations are in comfortable 2-bedded rooms, each with a sink. Bedding, linens, and a towel are provided. Shared toilets and bath/shower facilities are outside the bedrooms.
Folks who live near Stony Point: You are welcome to join us for the weekend without sleeping over (all programs plus all six meals), provided that you register in advance.

- Commuter (no room; activities and meals only) – $340
- Age 4-11 – $205 (all children 3 and under are free)

Late charge (after 3/15) is $35.
Registration closes on 3/21 at midnight.
Please Note
- ECRS events are fragrance, drug, and alcohol free
- All attending are asked to volunteer for one hour to help the weekend run smoothly
- Smoking is limited to the outdoors
Classes
Note: there is no separate Children’s Program at this event. However, children are welcome. Children aged ten or older can attend workshops on their own. If under age 10, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Games with Arnie Zacharias
Games for all ages! Includes various levels of activity and abilities. Emphasis is on having fun, interacting, and getting in touch with your playfulness and problem-solving skills.
Smorgasbord with Frank Baskin
Lead a song, game or other activity new to you or the group. Try something again. There will be a supportive climate for each person. Come play and/or lead. Age 12 +.
Folk Dancing with Sharon Underberg
Combining music, rhythm, movement, and a bit of heart, we will explore folk dances from around the corner to around the world. The dances we’ll learn include a variety of styles, tempos, and dance types. All levels of experience – from beginner to seasoned dancers – are welcome. No partner needed!
Flower Power Crafts with Kay Gering
Help Mother Nature brighten the world by creating our own flowers. Using a variety of natural materials, paper, paint, glue, and anything else that inspires us, we’ll bring Spring into full bloom. Whether a bouquet or boutonniere, flowers bring smiles!
Let’s Make Music Together with Fern Lox and Bonnie Ostrofsky
Bring your voice and/or musical instrument so we can have fun singing and playing together. Come sing even if you don’t play an instrument! You could even play a verse on a kazoo! Our new ECRS songbook has lyrics and chords that include folk, rock, funny songs, pop, ballads, and even some show tunes. Extra ukuleles will be available. All levels and ages are welcome.
Exploring the Outdoors in Early Spring with Kirk Wattles
Early Spring is our chance to watch the world unfold, as it does every year. We will look most closely at trees, rocks, and soil, looking for signs of change over time. This is a rain or shine class. Plan to dress for the weather!
Improv with Isaac Lebwohl-Steiner
Are you ready? No? Perfect! Come make it up as you go and fake it until you realize you’ve already made it! We’ll learn a little, play a lot, and laugh too much. No experience with improvisational theater needed; newcomers and experienced improvisers are equally welcome.
Small Scenes with Issac & Glenn Lebwohl-Steiner
If you have seen a play or a movie and imagined yourself as one of the characters, if you miss your time in the school play, or if you just want to be someone else for a minute, here is your chance! Comedy, drama, we have it all. Using scripts, we will rehearse, perform, and discuss a collection of scenes. Explore, discover, and create!
Cancellation/Covid Policy
A $20 cancellation fee will be charged for all cancellations received after March 8th, to cover processing and handling fees.
Note that there is no cancellation fee if you have to cancel because you test positive for Covid19 before the event. Click here for the complete Covid policy.
